We’re excited you’re interested in Royal Family KIDS Camp this year! Royal Family KIDS Camp is a one-week, overnight summer camp for children experiencing Foster Care. Our high staff-to-camper ratio allows us to give campers lots of individual attention and support while they have fun!

Your child or children are eligible to attend camp if they will be 7-11 years old in July and are currently experiencing Foster Care or have in the past.

If the local Child Welfare team is involved with your child, please work with the caseworker to obtain approval for your child to register for camp. The caseworker or parent/guardian can complete the application process. The RFKC team is happy to help answer questions. Just email and we will reply as soon as possible: Salemrfk@gmail.com

Camper applications will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis, beginning in February.

Our RFKC Child Placement Coordinator will reach out to you after your application is submitted and provide information for next steps.

Here are some memorable moments that take place at camp:

Lots of Attention from Caring Camp Counselors

We understand many campers have experienced difficult and often traumatic events in their short lives.

Volunteers are background checked, attend mandatory training, and learn to interact with campers using the Trust-Based Relational Intervention model.

Our schedule and curriculum are designed to create positive experiences with each camper - and we can’t wait to be with the kids!

Tons of Fun Activities

Counselors and staff have fun with campers each day swimming, hiking, fishing, crafting, face painting, bike riding, playing field games, archery, bug collecting, and more! Hanging out together makes it all the more fun!

Breakfast Club, Chapel, Drama & Eye Spy

Skits, songs, bible stories, dancing, games, and lots of laughs and high fives fill most mornings at camp. Will we find the forgetful professor, lost on a jungle safari? Does the wise Queen save her kingdom with her humble heart?

Or maybe a camper was caught in the act of being kind, selfless, and caring - we will applaud them with an Eye Spy Award!

These group activities are intentionally infused with positive messages of hope and kindness.

There is so much more that takes place at Royal Family KIDS Camp.
